Privacy Policy

HANS Society Foundation · Effective 31 August 2026 · Contact: support@joinhans.io

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how HANS Society Foundation ("HANS Society", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and applications at joinhans.io and its subdomains, including whitepaper.joinhans.io and earn.joinhans.io (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.

2. Information we collect

3. X (Twitter) account data

If you connect an X account, we receive and store your X user ID and username (handle), and we store the OAuth tokens you authorize, encrypted at rest. We use this data solely to (a) bind your X account to your wallet for bounty eligibility, and (b) verify bounty actions with X — for example whether your account follows a specified account, or whether a post you submit was authored by your account and meets the bounty rules. You can revoke our access at any time in your X settings (Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions).

4. Google user data

The Services do not currently request access to any Google user data. If a future feature does, this Policy will be updated first, and any such use will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How we use information

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that host and operate the Services on our behalf (such as web hosting and database providers), with the third-party platforms you explicitly connect (X, Google — governed by their own privacy policies), on public blockchains as an inherent part of on-chain transactions, and where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

7. Data retention and deletion

Profile and social-binding data is retained while your account is active. Bounty-claim records are retained for the integrity of the reward program (preventing duplicate claims) even if a social account is later unlinked or re-linked. To request deletion of your data, contact support@joinhans.io from a verifiable channel; we will delete stored personal data not strictly required for fraud prevention or legal compliance. On-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone.

8. Cookies

The Services use a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in on earn.joinhans.io. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), encryption at rest for stored OAuth tokens, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Services at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and keys.

10. International users

HANS Society Foundation operates internationally and your data may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own. By using the Services you consent to that processing.

11. Children

The Services are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version; material changes will be announced on the Services.
